03 · What Brunio Who is
An Argentine music project told in seasons
Brunio Who is also the artist name inside the project, but the name covers something more: music, characters, stories and videos that belong to one universe.
You can come in anywhere and just listen to the music, or keep exploring and find out how the seasons connect.
The story has an ending already written. It was never meant to be an endless project.

About the project
01Do I need to understand the story to listen to the music?
No, and this matters: Brunio Who is still a music project first.
You can listen to a song knowing absolutely nothing about the universe. The lore is there for anyone who wants to go deeper; you don’t have to study it to enjoy the music.
02Where do I start?
Wherever you landed. There’s no right way in: you can arrive through any song, video or season.
If something happening right now caught your attention, go straight into Season 2. If you care where all this comes from, start with Season 1.
You don’t need to know the beginning to enjoy what’s happening now. Later, if the project grabs you, you can follow the whole story.
03Why is Brunio Who divided into seasons?
Because every season opens a new universe: the music, the look, the characters and the way the story is told can all change. The idea isn’t for every record to live inside the same sound or the same world.
Season 1 moved around funk, disco, indie dance and a surreal universe of characters and masks. Season 2 walks into another world: tango, hip hop, Buenos Aires, arrabal and film noir.
What holds it together isn’t a genre. It’s Brunio Who.
04What’s happening in Season 2?
Season 2 is LA FRECUENCIA. Brunio Who turns up in a Buenos Aires that is nocturnal, tango-bound and out of time.
Tango, hip hop, arrabal, nostalgia, radio, interference and new characters start taking over the frequency.
La Frecuencia is what’s on the air now.
05What was Brunio’s Mind?
Brunio’s Mind was the project’s first season: a universe of masks, personalities, music and chaos that ended up turning into a kind of surreal musical sitcom.
The different characters and personalities cross paths inside one absurd reality, and the season ends in a musical short film that gathers that first cycle.
06Are the seasons connected?
Yes. Each season works on its own, but they aren’t isolated stories.
Characters, ideas and elements can turn up in different universes, and as the project moves forward the connections will get more and more visible.
The intention is that in the end it all belongs to one single line.
07Is everything Brunio Who releases part of the canon?
We try to keep most of it inside. Songs, characters, videos, interludes and a good part of the content are built within the project’s universe.
But Brunio Who is also an independent, living project. Sometimes a song can just be a song.
08How long does a season last, and how does it end?
As long as it needs to. Brunio Who is an independent project, so real time is part of the process too: a season can be planned for one year and end up needing two. We’d rather finish a story properly than rush the next one.
Every season has its own narrative ending. Whenever the project can manage it, the intention is for each season to get its own audiovisual and musical show as well: taking that universe off the screen and making it exist live.
09Is Brunio Who going to last forever?
No. Brunio Who has an ending.
We don’t know exactly when we’ll get there, because the pace depends on how the project moves too. But it was never meant to run indefinitely.
When the story ends, Brunio Who ends with it. After that there will be something else.
